Installation Guide
Get PivotFind running on TradingView in five simple steps.
Watch the Setup
Step by Step
Select "INDEX:BTCUSD"
Search for and select INDEX:BTCUSD on TradingView. This provides Bitcoin's complete price history from 2009. Avoid exchange-specific pairs — they lack historical data.
Select the "1D" Timeframe
PivotFind is optimized for daily (1D) on INDEX:BTCUSD. Other timeframes are not recommended.
Find "Bitcoin PivotFind" Indicator
Open Indicators, search "PivotFind," and add "Bitcoin PivotFind [BTC Cycle Tops & Bottoms]." A green lock means access is active.
Choose "Line" View
Switch from candlestick to Line view via the chart type selector in the top-left corner.
Set Line to Transparent
Double-click the price line, set transparency to 100%. This reveals PivotFind's color indicators — green (bull), red (bear), orange (reversal).
Verify Your Setup
Compare your chart with our feature videos. If everything matches, you're set. Red lock icon? Allow up to 30 minutes for activation.
